The Texas National Guard actually sent gas trucks to relieve evacuees that had run out of gas. They sent two tankers with 5000 gallons of gas each. One problem, they don't have the proper nozzles to actually distribute the gas. Gonda Mocada, Chief Master Sgt. of the Texas National Guard said they are flying in the proper nozzles. She also acknowledged the fact that 10,000 gallons of gas isn't going to do the trick.
We've got 29-1/2 hours to landfall and if this continues a lot of people are going to have to weather this storm along the highway.
Another storm, another failure.
