A friend of mine's brother owns a shooting range here in central Ohio. The past few days he has been visited by several members of the Ohio National Guard who showed up to buy supplies before being deployed to New Orleans. The same thing happens everytime a unit is mobilized to Iraq.
One thing is clear to me. If you don't write large checks to republican campaigns or even better, just flat out bribe them, republicans hold nothing but contempt for you even if you are in the service of this great nation.

Your saying that our National Guardsmen are going into private gun shops to get supplies for when they called up to Military service? Hello Civil War era planning and preparation for a nation with a standing army! Vice President Barney Fife will be right behind you with his one bullet.
