It is now official. Mike Brown has been sent back to DC. I have now found the name of the Coast Guard official that I reported on Wednesday that was already running the show. He is Vice Admiral Thad Allen. Allen is known as the master of disasters and is supposedly a genius when it comes to logistics. He is third in command of the Coast Guard.
Brown is still catching a check though.
