Goosestepping Recommended, Not Required

To mark the anniversary of 9/11, the Pentagon is planning a march from the Pentagon to the National Mall where a Clint Black concert will be held. No, this is not a joke. You are not reading the Onion. Ah, what better way to celebrate, er, commemorate, er, use the victims of 9/11. The war is going bad in Iraq and now we know the Pentagon's solution is to get some hillbillies together for a concert.

Also, and again I have to say, I'm not joking. Registration is required to participate in the march, and there is no same day registration. It's unclear whether or not marchers will be impressed into the military.

The march is called the America Supports Your Freedom March, too bad we don't support ours.

How many Dems are going to be kicked out for T-shirts and bumper stickers?

I, mean, everyone knows only good Republicans love their country or care about social security.

Why are you Americans so strange? ;)
But don't you know music has always been giving hope to people.. and that's all that's left, thinking of Iraq. You can't make people want something as strange as american "democracy" overnight.

I agree completely S&V, most Americans have so little knowledge of the outside world, it's really pathetic.
