Every once in a while Blogger picks your blog and directs people to your site. It's called a blogswarm and you usually get about twenty hits out of it. One of the problems with this is that the comments get filled with blogspam. There are people out there that simply click from blog to blog cutting and pasting crappy ads for generally crappy products. If you read the comments on this site that is what all of the deleted comments are.
Side note: I still don't understand why the Blogger spellcheck doesn't recognize the word blog.
