I just got a letter from the Bureau Of Motor Vehicles stating that I have been granted a forty-five day extension on my car's registration due to a delay on the BMV's part in sending me a new sticker.
I have to carry this letter around with me so that when I get pulled over, almost a certainty since I will be driving with expired tags, I can show the police that I can legally drive the car. Of course, this also means I can't park my car on the street or in public lots since the city writes parking tickets for expired tags.
