The Connecticut state republican party is calling voters today telling them that if the vote republican today they will promise to end robo calling. Now, they are doing this to protect some of their congressional races that are in danger, but how many will come home to Alan Schlesinger and therefore not vote for Joe Lieberman because of it? It remains to be seen.
By the way, that is a pretty shallow promise at best.
