I am currently listening to the Senate debate on the confirmation hearing of Priscilla Owens. This is the debate that Bill Frist wants to use to invoke the nuclear option. Bill Frist feels he needs to do this because he is beholden to James Dobson. Frist feels Dobson can hand Frist the presidency in 2008. I guess Frist doesn't own a mirror. Nobody that creepy looking is probably going to win the presidency in our lifetime.
Supposably a deal is very close to being in place to stop the nuclear option involving six moderates from both sides.
